It was the night it all began.
Summer 2019, an electronic music festival in Transylvania. We were four friends, soaking up the atmosphere, sounds, and freedom.
We craved silence and sunset.
Tired of the noise and crowds, we decided to get away and enjoy the sunset far from festival chaos.
Picnic atop the hill.
On a grassy hilltop, we spread a blanket and had a cozy picnic. It was perfect—sunset painted the sky in magical colors.
Heading back and a sudden trap.
As the sun disappeared, we started back and quickly realized we were lost. An enormous ravine stood in our path, deep and daunting.
A dangerous descent.
The slope was steep, slippery, full of sharp branches and thorns. We scrambled down, barely seeing the ground beneath our feet.
Darkness closing in.
Night was falling fast, and the only phone we had was almost dead. Anxiety gripped us, but we pushed on.
An unexpected savior.
At our most desperate moment, we remembered a tiny blue flashlight of just 30 lumens, forgotten at the bottom of a backpack. Its faint beam illuminated only a few meters, yet it was enough to find the path.
Back at the festival again.
Finally escaping the woods, we returned, relieved, to the festival filled with lights, music, and friendly laughter.

Later, sitting by the warm campfire, we (Eugene and Alex) realized just how crucial a good flashlight would have been—something light, stylish, powerful, and easy to use.

After five long years of work, research, and testing, we finally brought our dream to life, creating Beaconix—a flashlight perfectly embodying our values: Freedom, Style, and Comfort.
